Clearing up stains after oil spilled on resurfaced tarmac drive

My driveway was resurfaced a year or so ago, and last week oil from a truck was spilled onto it in three separate patches I didn't see it for about 3 days and then tried to use a detergent and power washer to remove the stains The stains have not been removed and have spread as a sort of 'watermark What should I do?
Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

Hello, you can buy off the shelf oil stain and driveway cleaner/remover from any B&Q, building center etc... Its a liquid mixture and all you just need to use a stiff brush and a bit of elbow grease. You may have to repeat a couple of times. Pressure washer can help also.
