Hot water takes ages to come through pump in morning (gravity fed system)

Hi we have 2 showers , gravity fed system and a pump fitted. When pump is on the whole of upstairs is pumped.... Taps and showers? First thing in morning main bathroom shower won't go hot. Only way to get this working is to turn on both taps and both showers. Ensuite tap then gets hot and seems to kick start main shower? Why is this? The control on my ensuite shower (triton LP) has started to turn loose and the dial moves right round when you turn it on - could this be the issue or does it sound like something else? We are in process of fixing shower and also putting back a bath as this was removed before we bought house.

could be the shower dial but you state that this is with all hot outlets in the room? could be a lack of non return valves to the shower unit, is water flowing adecuately through the shower on the hot side but just not hot? if not then there could be a blockage or air in the system, is this an open system? how is the water heated?
