Possible to reduce length of a 54" marble fireplace?

Hi. I was to buy a marble fireplace surround buts it's too long. There is space for a 49" long fireplace surround but the one I'm looking to buy is 54" long. Are there services/people who can alter/cut a piece/s out of the fireplace to reduce the length by a few inches. Thanks

Depending on the design but cant see it being a problem,size in diameter of the marble,as it would have to be a wet saw
