boiler main combi 24he - sometimes red light flame failure flash and burner light goes off

I have a main combi 24 he boiler. It works properly initially. But some times only red light flame failure flash and burner light goes off. then no heat and hot water comes. By reseting it works again and some times doesnt by doing the same reset process. I have checked and confirm 1.pump is working. 2.fan is working 3.water gage is normal Everything seems ok. But I dont understand what is problem with this. Thanks

With respect i'm glad you don't understand the problem, this means you will now have to phone a Gas Safe boiler breakdown engineer to investigate and make good the repair(s). We receive far too many home owners fishing for information on how to repair their boilers. This is not only potentially dangerous, but also if advice is given and it does not involve breaking in to a gas way you could misunderstand the information and cause even more damage to your boiler or even worse cause harm to yourself. So please leave the repairs to a competent Gas Safe engineer! Update: Fullflame, your advice is not only irresponsible but potently dangerous if the poster attempts to carry out this repair themselves. I would strongly suggest you re-think your actions before posting any further replies to boiler breakdowns. Also you are depriving a local gas safe engineer from carrying this repair and as a result depriving him of a income!
