Are all bottom filling inlet valves for toilets equal?

Anonymous user 03/03/2024 - 3.09 PM

I need to replace the inlet valve on my toilet but I can't see the exact one anywhere online – are they all the same? Thanks

Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

If you get the same type (but different make) it should be fine. Best bet would be to take a photo to the shop/merchant. If possible get one with a brass thread. Especially if your not a plumber. The plastic ones can cross thread. Which will give cause small leaks and you'll get annoyed.
