Bought downstairs large flat&some cracks on ceilings floors etc,spoke to the surveyor who says its probably coming from steps at the back, pulling away from house but i cant see anything, any ideas

it might be just a subsidence

with out looking it is hard to say it could be caused by a variant of things get them messured and find out if its still pulling if it is you require a strucvtual repair if not just repair but add a flex on the floor and pva on ceiling
