What is the correct building standard for a block garden wall, regarding foundation depth and would block on flat be more acceptable due to amount of top soil on one side? Cheers

Depends on ground conditions and height of wall. Her I go footing should be 200mm wider than wall . Walls upto 3ft footing at least 150mm for a single skin wall or 250mm depth for double skin wall. footing should finish 150mm below ground level If soil is clay then extra 100mm to depth of footing .
