I am looking for the sticky down covering you can put down on the stairs and floor when painting, I have seen it on the makeovers on TV. can you help please

Yes you can get the cheapest from any tool station retailer online or in shop.. It's called carpet protection its around £10 a reel

You could use Dulux super matt but really just get normal cheap white matt and water it down a little and give it all a quick wash over. It is only to stop the new paint being sucked in, thus sealing it. No secret.
