Should deposit be included in the price or refunded?

Anonymous user 03/03/2024 - 3.09 PM

conservatory was quoted as £8.250 for 3x3m who asked for a deposit of £1.658 does the deposit come off the price of the conservatory or go on the price or should I get my deposit back?

Deposit should be part of the price and is paid up front as conservatories are made to order.

your deposit should come off the final bill, i.e if you've been quoted £8250.00 minus £1658.00 balance on completion £6592.00. this should all have been made clear to you and put in writing. the fact it was not has alarm bells ringing good luck Alex

The deposit will be included in the full purchase price. the conservatory is probably made to order. The deposit it not normally refundable if you cancel the order once the unit has been made.
