Thermostatic shower, combi boiler, inconsistent hot water to shower

Ever since I replaced my old shower with a thermostatic one I've had issues with the hot water feed. The shower believes the temperature has got too high, releases cold water, then becomes hot again in a consistent cycle. Both shower and boiler have been serviced many times but the issue is still present. I need to replace the shower very soon as it's become much worse recently but I am unsure as to which type of shower to purchase. For info the shower and the boiler are both on the same level of the property.
