Not sure which trade? I have a small bedroom with the box above the stairwell measuring 61cm(d)x92cm(w)x69cm(h) . I would like to bring this down as low as possible.

I would then like to have a cabin bed built above it to fit a single mattress. Can this be done please?

Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

hi my name is calvin (under select-a-colour) on my builder. this should be possible and even if there is not much room once the box has been reduced the cabin bed could be made to fit the existing space and hide the unsightly box, a good carpenter (like myself) would achieve this without to much of a problem.hope this is of help to you. Calvin.

not sure I'm totally understanding your description but the bulkhead above your stair case must not be lower than 2m measured plumb from front edge of any tread on the centreline. hope that helps.
