Bathroom Fitting

1670mm bath replaced with a 1700mm one

Anonymous user 28/02/2024 - 3.05 PM

Currently the space for the bath is 1670mm and we have a 1670mm bath fitted. We are looking to replace it and I have been given the responsibility to look for a new one and my plumber said a 1700mm will be fine. How will this work, will the finish be very clean and neat?

You can fit a 1700 bath by recessing the ends into the wall, it all depends how much room you have for the taps. I would always tile down over the bath where possible so you should have a nice neat finish. Baths are available at 1680 or 1690, they just take a bit more looking for. Hope this helps Mark
