water pressure less than what it was in my shower
Anonymous user 01/03/2024 - 2.50 PM
My electric shower pressure is less that what it was. The heater is still working so the pressure is still high enough for it to work. Can anyone advise on whether i need a plumber or electrician. thank you for your time. Robbie

Water pressure has seasonal variations. This time of year when there is a lot more water use, the incoming mains pressure is likely to be lower than in the winter. In addition if you live in a hard water area, then limescale build up inside the shower will reduce the flow and affect the pressure. A plumber is more likely to be able to help you solve water pressure issues, although if the shower is very badly scaled and is over 2 years old, its probably cheaper to replace it with a new one.
