Electrical point for 1200w overhead hairdryer

Hi, What kind of electrical point would i need for my overhead hairdryer in my salon? its a 1200w, 2 speed one.

1200 watts divided by 230volts = 5.21amps. The most sensible option would be to fit a standard 13amp plug top with a 5amp fuse inside it, and then it can be plugged into any standard 13amp socket.

You need a 5A fused spur or a13A socket and put a plug on your dryer lead with 5A fuse
