Hired a landscaper, not from Trust a Trader, big big mistake. Have learned my lesson, job not completed and have to find some way to finish it.
Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

Cheapest way to fill in up to level required for mulch is to use subsoil - people are always wanting to get rid of the clay subsoil from their gardens, so all you need to do is find someone willing to let you have it! Ask your neighbour’s, family and friends the closer the better, then you won't even have to pay for transporting it, just barrow it round!!

As contractors we have to pay to get rid of soil and rubble from digouts. If you are struggling to find someone on FaceBay, I would reach out to some local landscapers and ask if they could tip a load from another job on your driveway. This would save BOTH of you money, a total Win-Win situation.
