Why is laundry coming out of my washing machine with yellow stains on it?

Anonymous user 28/02/2024 - 2.36 PM

The last two washes I have done have been a disaster in that several items from each wash have comeout with bright yellow stains on them (which were not there when they went in the wash). The most recent wash left some yelow stains but one shirt had a rusty looking stain on it. Anyone hazard a guess at what is causing it and whether the problem is repairable? Thanks - Debs

i have the same problem occassionaly,i think is because when the wife wash my work close they might be residue of flux on the close ,flux is a acidic compound that us plumber use to solder pipes, but i am not hundred % shure,i have also thought it might be residue of bleach in the washing machine,

Have you checked in the rubber door seal to see if there is a metal button in there this happened to us the once it was spotting most of the clothes with rusty colouring.

Sounds like corrosion in the washing machine somewhere. My washing machine is called 'the wife' she's a bit corroded :)
