Should my new build block driveway be sloping towards the house and just below airbricks
Anonymous user 23/02/2024 - 2.50 PM
Hi, I'm no expert but the block driveway to the side of our New build house slopes towards the house to a level just below the run of air bricks. Is this right? We have a pre inspection meeting with the developers on Wednesday when I will raise this as a concern but how far can I push it to have the drive pulled up and relaid level? Thanks james

Any drive that slops towards the house should be a minimum of 150 mm below the DPC . And should have drainage system to remove water.
