What is the best fence panels that will withstand bad weather

We wondered would maybe building a wall be better than fence panels in our back garden?
Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

Good evening, I would fit concrete posts with close boarded feather edge, you could fit slotted concreted posts to take panels which is easy to replace if the panel get damaged, don't buy wickes panels, I would spend about £20 min a panel from a good fencing/timber merchant, shaped panels can be up to £60 a panel but you get what you pay for to be honest

Depends what you mean by bad weather. Feather edge is a common one if you don't want concrete posts etc then 4 inche post are just as good as long as you concrete under and around the post bottom to the top with a slanted top this will reduce the speed of it rotting and they will last 10years+. If it's windy then hit and miss also looks very smart it still provides privacy and lets the wind travel through
