If its a scotia bead or quadrant im sure you could pin it and it will be fine! Failing that maybe put very small cuts in the back of the beading every 10 or 15mm to give it a bit more give. Also depending on the timber bead you could warm it by steam and that will soften it. When needed i have used a dash of adhesive and pinned it. Good luck.

Hello. Depends what kind of beading you are using. The scotia bead that you can get for the flooring is quite flexible so can easily be bent to follow the wall. Just use a couple of panel pins to hold the bead in place till the adhesive sets. If you are using a hard wood solid beading there is a method called kerf bending You make a series of cuts in the back of the wood if you type this into google at should bring up some info in more detail. Hi there, the beading you refer to is called quadrant or quarter round I assume. I also assume that skirting exists at the moment. The beading can be made to follow the curve by pinning and gluing to the skirting using small oval nails and gripfill adhesive (both from B&Q or local builders merchant). Hope this of use. Julian
