erection of gravel board fencing

Anonymous user 14/03/2024 - 2.33 PM

our neighbour has used gravel boards as fencing between our properties. They are about five feet high,i am worried that my children will have a nasty bump if they should run trip or fall against them,is it legal to place gravel boards that high as opposed to using wooden panels.

Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

As far as I know there is nothing to stop your neighbour using gravel boards as fencing. As long as what they have built is secure, and is not above 2 mts they can > It is even possible to use concrete gravel boards as a fence. If you have major concerns then i suggest you contact your local council or planning officer. Yes it’s called a gravel board wall and you can go up to 6ft high with this, sorry that doesn’t help your issue 😔
