Hot and cold water disappears from the bathroom taps

Anonymous user 03/03/2024 - 3.08 PM

From the bathroom taps and toilet when I turn the kitchen sink taps on is this a question of the size of the piping? I mean do the bathroom tap pipes need to go down to 15ml? New Combi boiler just installed.

Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

Your boiler is mains fed so If you're opening various taps it will be a difference in flow rates around your house because your boiler needs the water to heat up and you're taking away the water by using a cold tap downstairs lets say. It shouldn't be really poor like dripping but it wont be equal flow rates because of fittings used & pipe lengths.
