Can we replace a toilet room with a shower room with toilet?

Anonymous user 28/02/2024 - 3.04 PM

Hi, We've got a toilet room that we're thinking of getting quotes to convert it into a shower room with a toilet. Here is the floor plan however I do need to measure it myself to confirm dimensions: http://www.winkworth.co.uk/assets/floorplans/WNO140008_06.JPG So we've got 6'11 x 3'5 (2.1m x 1m) to play with. Would it be possible to (walking into the room): 1. Open the door outwards. 2. Move the sink towards the door on the left wall. 3. Move the (new) toilet to the left wall. 4. Switch the radiator on the right wall with a higher chrome radiator. 5. Install a shower and glass screen towards the back near the window (ideally this will be tiled with a step). The vision has come from this idea: http://www.softiv.com/fascinating-bathroom-ideas-long-narrow-designs/elegant-bathroom-design-bathroom-ideas-long-narrow-tile-backsplash/ Thanks for any advice you can give at this stage. Cheers, Nick

most things are possible to-do but a good measure up and looking at the job would be the best answer to your question regards Martin Edwards

Getting the measures to fit the shower tray is one of the staring point, but one of the point wich challenges everything is installing waste pipe at proper place and in right position, i believe this is where we need to discuss the installation should the shower be installed so high that it feels like is bath tube and not shower tray
