top up valve not opening on glow worm easicom 28

Hi, My parents have a Glow worm easicom 28. The pressure has gone down as I bled one of the radiators. It has gone down to 00 bar. I have tried topping it up but no water is going through. I have unscrewed one end of the pipe and the top valve is not opening. How do I get it to open? I have tried to top it up manually but it obviously needs to be under pressure as the water is not going through. Any ideas would be gratefully received. Thanks, Adrian

Try reading the boiler user manual, it should explain the procedure. See item 11.2 for CH filling procedure: http://www.glow-worm.co.uk/stepone/data/downloads_sd/f1/00/00/easicom-instn-serv.pdf If there is no factory fitted filling valve(s) then then there must be a after market braded filling loop, make sure both valves are open when filling the system.
