How many packs of laminate for lounge and U shape hall?

Can someone help me calculate how many packs I would need for my lounge and hall please? My lounge is 4.8 x 3.6m and not odd shaped. My hall however is a U shape. Split into 3 sections it measures 1.8 x 1m 0.9 x 1.9m 1 x 4.8m The laminate I'm interested in comes like this: Width: 195 mm Length: 1285 mm Pack Quantity: 10 Pk Pack Coverage Area: 2.5 m²
Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

Im Sean Patterson, i have calculated the following
you need 17 sq meters of flooring
so -- 17 / 2.5 sq meters in a box = 6.8 packs
round up to 7 Packs of flooring.
However please allow for cuts and mistakes i would suggest 8 boxes you can always return the extra you dont require.

I would allow 12 packs (additional for wastage), keep the receipt, if you do not open the pack you can simply take it back for a refund.
