Seaming pliers or hand seamers

Anonymous user 03/03/2024 - 3.07 PM

Hi, Could someone who uses seaming pliers aka hand seamers please tell me which is better - the straight or cranked (bent) pliers? Why is one type used over the other? For specific tasks, or just personal preference? And why are there 45 degree bent pliers and 90 degree bent pliers? What does the angle refer to? Is it the angle of the metal after it is bent, or before? Or is it the maximum angle that the pliers can bend? Does anyone use more than one pair of pliers/seamers? Many thanks, Sonya

It is often down to preference, what are you going to be using them for exactly?
