Flooded patio, paid huge amount of money and very unhappy

Just paid huge amount on landscape gardening including new slate patio areas. We have had heavy rain and most of the patio is currently under water..... Can anyone suggest where we need to go from here : ( extremely annoyed!!!

Any patio or driveway which would suffer from water collection should be laid with a slight gradient away from buildings. Drains should be installed to collect water run off and directed to an appropriate soak away.

If it's under a year old you are entitled by law to expect a 'reasonable' job to have been done.
If you are not happy, get them back to sort it out.
Record everything you can, so keep letters/emails etc.
Take photos as proof. If you are not happy after that contact the trading standards folks who will help you. The more proof you have the better! Make sure that the camera you use has the correct date settings as this will help too!
