Unvented hot water cylinder in bathroom

Anonymous user 28/02/2024 - 3.03 PM

I have just moved to a new house and the they have an indirectly heated unvented hot water cylinder (210 litre) in the corner of the bedroom, complete with the pump and control panel and expansion vessel, I want to move this to the bathroom. Are there any regulations that forbid the cylinder/pump/controls to be in the bathroom? Thanks.

1/Common sense-build an airing cupboard to house the cylinder and equipment. 2/Keep the airing cupboard outside zone 2. 3/Comply with part P regulations relating to rooms containing bath/shower(notifiable works)
