Is there much work in moving a radiator about 2 inches

Anonymous user 03/03/2024 - 3.06 PM

I need a radiator moving about 2 inches to the left as the pipe on the rh side is currently slightly jurting across a doorway. Is there much work in this? I am wondering whether to have a go myself

The amount of work for this depends on how neat you would like the flow and return to the radiator to appear. If you are happy with adjustments being made above floor level this will cut the time required. If you would like adjustments below floor level this would increase the labour time. In both cases good working knowledge of plumbing would be required and your heating system would need draining to carry this out. My advice would be to select a plumber or heating engineer to do the work for you.
