Do I need to hire a gas safe engineer to change / move radiators

Anonymous user 28/02/2024 - 3.03 PM

Dear all, We are in the process of a) moving a radiator from one wall to another in one of the bedrooms and b) changing the existing radiators (without changing locations) for two others. (The new radiators are of a slightly different size from the old radiators, so there may be a need for some pipe work here too. I would like to know if the plumber that we engage should be gas safe certified or if just a normal plumber would be sufficient. Thank you!

Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?
