Concrete floor moisture after removing Marley tiles

Anonymous user 03/03/2024 - 3.06 PM

Hi, Having discovered a mildew problem, we have had an expert in to tell us why it is happening and turns out where we removed some Marley tiles from our concrete floor in our bungalow, that moisture is now coming up through the concrete floor. Although not damaging the carpet etc it is causing the right conditions for mould growth under my beds and at base level on furniture. We have been advised to sort the floor out and latex screed was mentioned. Can anyone advise on best course of action?

Sounds like you need a suitable DPM, prime and screed.
