How do I report a problem with a stonemason?
Anonymous user 23/02/2024 - 2.49 PM
I have recently had very poor stonemasonry work on my property. I want to share this as there was significant damage caused to my property and this gentleman turns out not to be a stonemason at all, so I want others to know so they are not taken in by him. Please is this something you can help me with?
Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

Hello.Did you check the guys feedback on My Builder ? I would also be asking about qualifications and accreditation on your initial meeting.I would be asking to see his CSCS card outlining the guys skills.I carry my city and guilds certificates and CSCS Gold card with me to the initial meeting as well as references to give the client piece of mind.

You could try taking him to small claims court.

You should of asked to see work. Make sure he can do the job correctly. To many people say they can do it but can’t. Be careful in the future. Good luck. Hope this helps.
