Hi my neighbour's house is a bungalow, and they planning to build another level on top. Can I object to this, as this will overlook my garden? Thank you

Hi!
to build it they will need your permission.
sometimes building inspector asks even for signature from neighbours.
if you are against that, they won't get building done.

Hi
Part of the planning application is to gain neighbours agreement and if you are set against it they will struggle to gain the planning approval, You need to put it in writing to the planning officer. Unfortunatly that doesnt always stop the application as ive seen this before and the planning was still given but that was more than just an extention so hopefully you will be ok.
Hope that helps
