Fitting shower over an awkwardly positioned bath (open ended with no wall)

Anonymous user 03/03/2024 - 3.06 PM

I have just moved into a flat and am wondering what the best option would be to fit a shower over an awkwardly positioned bath. By this I mean that the end of the bath where the taps are, is open ended with no wall. The other end of the bath has a window above it, but there is a small amount of external wall on the left of the window which I'm hoping the shower could be mounted. Underneath the window is the sink and the toilet is next to the open ended side of the bath. I have a combi boiler so was hoping to fix a thermostatic mixer shower but I'm not sure of the correct pipework layout. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks in anticipation. Any advice ? Thanks

one method is to have a bespoke shower enclosure made to fit in an l shape with a fixing to the wall and a fixed panel sitting on bath edge rim and sealed to the bath
