Outline of breezeblock showing through rough cast

Hi, I have recently had an extension to my home & noticed the outline of breezeblock showing through the rough cast. Rough cast was applied on 18/2/14. What would be the reason for this ?

hi there,
this is perfectly normal. it is just the blockwork has a different drying time to the cement. in effect, the blockwork dries out quicker than the mortar beds and perps, so you can see each individual block.
