Poor water pressure on hot taps, tried installing automatic air vent but not helped

Anonymous user 28/02/2024 - 3.02 PM

I live in a bungalow water pressure on hot water taps in kitchen and bathroom is very poor only a trickle. After advice from this website last week I have installed an automatic air vent but it has not helped, is there anything else I can do to improve the water flow?

Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

Then your problem is not an air lock as you previously stated and must be either no head pressure or badly run pipework. If it's a pressure problem then either raise the tank for extra pressure or fit a pump. If it's pipework then rerun or fit a pump. Either way, I recommend getting a plumber in to see what's what.
