Replacement of back boiler to combi - before or after new kitchen installation?
Anonymous user 28/02/2024 - 3.02 PM
We have just bought an 1950's house with an old back boiler in the living room. We intend to replace this with a combi boiler. The kitchen needs replacing; should we move the boiler before or after new kitchen installation?

Important to note if you are fitting new wall mounted cupboards, then the boiler installation will be carried out first, but if the walls are being re-tiled in the location of the boiler then obviously that work will take place first.
If new cupboards are being installed make sure the gas installer knows the layout plan of the cupboards so he can position the boiler so it lies within the dummy cupboard!
