Should I insulate roof rafters before boarding out loft?

My loft has floor insulation and i am looking to use it as living space. Should I now insulate the roof rafters before boarding it out? Thanks

Consider acoustically insulating between the floor rafters in an attic conversion, as well as thermally insulating the roof rafters where the rafters are pitched.
