Support for chimney breast to be removed on lower level only

Hi I'm looking to remove the chimney breast from my living room to create a bit more space but leave the one in the bedroom. What kind of support/ brackets do I need to use?

Do not remove anything without speaking to building control or a structural engineer if the chimney has a shared party wall with your neighbor and he has done the same work you intend to do or you fit something that is not sufficient for the weight it will have to bare you could be letting your self in for aright old mess . If you come to sell and the intended purchaser asks your agent for the calculations for the alterations it would cost you more to get them AFTER THE EVENT. Bob Dean Golden construction.
