Only get hot water out of mixer taps with low mains pressure

Anonymous user 14/03/2024 - 2.32 PM

Hi - I have 6 mixer taps for sinks/shower/bath (all taps are mixer). Sometimes I only get cold water through them, and no hot. The only way I can get hot water into my mixer taps is if I severely reduce the mains pressure from the road. Is there any way to fix this permanently, or do I always need to have low mains pressure? FYI - I have a boiler with Megaflow providing hot water. In answer to James Wilkinson's question. I have a boiler providing hot water to a megaflow then on to hot taps from there.

Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

Something's not right, perhaps it's time to have the megaflow serviced which should involve cleaning the filters, checking the correct operation of the valves including the regulator valve and reinstating the expansion bubble. megaflow recommend servicing every year but this rarely happens.
