mould around bathroom extractor fan (water trickling down extractor pipe)

Started noticing mould this winter. The previous extractor fan was quite an old one and out of use, and had it replaced a couple of weeks ago, in the hope that it would resolve the problem but no luck. The electrician, who fitted the new fan, mentioned that water was trickling down the extractor pipe (property is terraced and there is an extractor pipe leading from the extractor fan to a vent in the roof). He had to use wooden blocks to hold the extractor fan in place as the ceiling plaster had weakened. On inspecting the loft, I couldn't find any leaks so the roof seems fine. Looks like the mold is being caused by condensation so looking for tips on how to fix it. What type of tradesman would I need to get to fix the problem? The ceiling around the extractor fan will also need to be re-plastered and that section of the loft re-insulated.
