Looking for a full time employer in the electrical trade to start my course (Wolverhampton)

Anonymous user 28/02/2024 - 3.01 PM

Hi, I'm Adam from Wolverhampton, I have recently been accepted onto the Birmingham Electrical Training Apprenticeship scheme, and have funding for training over a period of up to 4 years through their programme. To begin the course I am required to have a full-time work placement with an electrical contractor to gain the experience and knowledge which will help me to become a fully qualified electrician. I would love to become an apprentice as I would love to learn on the job as well as learning within college, I have always looked into being an Electrician as it is a solid career and something I have been interested in for a long time now and would love to career in it. I have some electrical experience and on site experience with National Grid. I am looking for work in the wolverhampton area but as I do drive and have my own transport anywhere in the west midlands would be great too. I am looking at all aspects of the electrical trade. I can send my C.V to you for additional information. I have a lot of skills and experiences which you can see in my C.V if required. I am available for an interview at any time, and look forward to hearing from you. Yours sincerely, Adam Tinsley. Contact Information: Mobile-07857123775 Email- adam030@hotmail.co.uk

Hi Adam, It might be worth contacting a company called Clarkson Evans. I know they are taking on apprentices all the time and they have an office in Birmingham, which isn't too far from you. Their website is: http://www.clarksonevanstraining.co.uk/ Best of luck, Ian

This is the wrong place to be looking, most tradesmen on here are self employed or small companies. You need to look for larger firms that run training schemes.
