How to join guttering
Anonymous user 14/03/2024 - 2.32 PM
We have just had a conservatory built. The existing roof gutter downpipe had to be moved, and now runs down the new glass roof to meet the new guttering around the conservatory roof. The problem is that the fast running water from the roof downpipe splashes everywhere when it hits the new guttering. Is there a neat way to shield the downpipe as it meets the new gutter?

You can lessen the fall by installing a couple of 45% elbow joints two thirds the way down the down pipe.

Hi is there no way you could run a full down spout down the side of the conservatory if so I would say use a Y branch for the down spout to connect to the conservatory down spout together it would look better and save your issue
