Power off in new building but breaker doesn't trip

Anonymous user 23/02/2024 - 2.48 PM

The power in my flat went off for the third time in the past 2 weeks, always the same story - no breakers tripped. I disconnected all devices and restarted the main switch and all the breakers, but no change. Last time this happened, the power went on without me doing anything, after a few hours. The rest of the building does not seems to have any problems, I asked the neighbours. I live in a new building. Any suggestions? Should I call an electician to do some tests? Many thanks in advance

Yes, call an electrician to do some tests.

This could simply be a loose connection on the main isolator on your board (which needs urgent attention #firehazard ) It could be a loose connection in the supply side or the fuse is not fitted correctly. Have it checked immediately to avoid any danger.
