Do I need planning permission for lean to conservatory?
Anonymous user 14/03/2024 - 2.32 PM
I am wanting to build a glass lean to adjoining a converted outhouse that is currently a kitchen. I wish to knock down the external wall and have an open kitchen diner. The property is a semi detached bungalow and the glass lean to would be next to the garden fence which separates next door to mine. The fence itself is about 6ft so would I need planning permission?

Yes planning would be needed.
A conservatory must have a lockable door between the house and conservatory & separate controls for any radiators.
As it's classed as temporary structure.
Hope this helps.
