What paint is best to use when you have a 5 month year old baby?

Anonymous user 03/03/2024 - 3.04 PM

My hall and lounge need painting and I have a 5 month old baby and was wondering what type of paint is safer to use as do not want him to breath in harmful fumes.

Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

Hello, I'm Tomas. I will not recommend any silk emulsion on the walls, just use ordinary water based Farrell and Ball Trade emulsion. For woodwork quick drying water based undercoat and for top coat quick drying Dulux Trade Eggshell or Satinwood paint.

Water based paint will be much safer for a young child as there is no noxious fumes Jon
