Why are specialist bathroom paints water based?

Why is specialist bathroom paint (eg dulux) water based when all the advice seems to say use oil based to avoid mould, flaking etc? Which easily available oil based paint is best?

I do painting more than 10 years and for me the best paints for the bathroom, especially for the mould, is zinsser
