Loss of upstairs lights after changing downstairs light fitting and reset breaker

Changed downstairs light fitting, reset breaker now have no upstairs lights. Is it possible that I have disturbed a cable?

Yes quite possible. Also if the lights in the house are only on one circuit, the connections at the new light may have been mixed up, as not all cables of the same colour go together.
