Noisy pipes in upstairs bathroom when toilet is flushed / hot water is running
Anonymous user 01/03/2024 - 2.49 PM
Hello, my problem is noisy pipe work, every time the upstairs toilet is flushed it make a loud noise for about 30 seconds (this happens for approx 90% of the times that it is flushed) also I have noticed when the bath is run the same noise starts when the hot water has been running for approx a minute but stops as soon as it is turned off. Is this causing damage to the system and in need of a plumber or is it something that a very amateur diy person can tackle? Regards deb

Hello!
Generally speaking, is not damage of system but it may be cause to damage your system, it simple pipe are moving and if that happen every time it my lose pipe connection and start leak. Everyone who can use common sense can do that job as long as you have access to the pipes.attach the pipe to the block with a pipe strap.
