Mould growth and damp smell after putting down tile and wooden floors
Anonymous user 28/02/2024 - 3.00 PM
Before putting down tile and wooden floors, we put insulation in leaving little or no gaps - the loft and roof space was also insulated. Now we have mould gathering and there is a damp smell - house was empty for a couple of years but previous owners said they did not have any probs with mould - any advice please?

Does your house have a cavity in external wall, or is it insulated from outside? There are a lot of ways to cut down your heating bills and insulate your house mould free.
Hope it helped.
