Damp Proofing

Damp proof membrane on kitchen floor

Anonymous user 28/02/2024 - 3.00 PM

If I lay the DPM Membrane, does it have to come up the walls all the way to accommodate all the layers? Sand, Kingspan and concrete etc? Want to make sure I get it right! Thanks

Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

Hi There Yes it has to cover all the layers and a little beyond, once screeded (top coat) you can cut the excess off. Regards Joseph

Hi yes, it has to come up the walls to accommodate the depth of the floor, and excess can be trimmed after floor has been screeded. Hope this helps Regards Tyrone
